Storia

L'HK433 è stato presentato al salone EnforceTac 2017 di Norimberga, in Baviera, Germania, dopo essere stato mostrato ad un numero selezionato di persone al precedente SHOT Show. La H&K sta posizionando il fucile come candidato alla competizione della Bundeswehr tedesca per selezionare un nuovo fucile d'assalto. La H&K G36, il fucile d'assalto standard della Bundeswehr dal 1997, sarà gradualmente eliminato e la sua sostituzione è prevista a partire dal 2020.

Il design

Le lunghezze delle canne disponibili saranno da 11", 12,5", 14,5", 16,5″, 18,9" fino a 20″, fucinate a freddo e rivestite in cromo duro con una torsione destra di 178 mm (1 in 7 pollici), canne a sei scanalature con cromatura dura. La precisione è descritta come "molto al di sopra della media".

Il fucile d'assalto Heckler & Koch HK433 è il progetto più recente del famoso produttore tedesco di armi da fuoco. Presentato per la prima volta nel 2017, questo fucile d’assalto è destinato principalmente a sostituire i fucili d'assalto HK G36 in servizio con la Bundeswehr (esercito tedesco). Può avere anche un significativo potenziale di esportazione, soprattutto se adottato nell'esercito del suo paese d'origine.

Descrizione tecnica

Il fucile d'assalto Heckler & Koch HK433 è un'arma da fuoco selettiva a recupero di gas. È dotato di pistone a gas a corsa breve, situato sopra la canna, con regolatore manuale del gas. Le canne sono facilmente rimovibili dopo lo smontaggio parziale, e sono disponibili in diverse lunghezze, che vanno da 28 a 50 cm (11 a 20 pollici). Il bloccaggio del cilindro è ottenuto da un otturatore rotante in stile G36 che si blocca direttamente nell'estensione della canna, e il gruppo portaotturatore è anch'esso basato su HK G36, con diversi miglioramenti nel dettaglio.

La carcassa superiore è realizzata in lega di alluminio; la carcassa inferiore, composta da un alloggiamento per il grilletto, un alloggiamento per il caricatore e un'impugnatura a pistola, è realizzata in polimero. L'arma è dotata di una leva ambidestra a 3 posizioni di sicurezza/selettore che permette di effettuare tiri singoli e fuoco completamente automatico.

La ricevente inferiore è disponibile in due versioni alternative, con comandi tipo M16 (pulsanti laterali di sgancio caricatore ambidestro) o G36 (sgancio caricatore a paletta nella parte inferiore).

In entrambe le configurazioni è presente una leva di fermo-apertura a bullone ambidestro. La maniglia di caricamento pieghevole non è alternata, ma può essere bloccata per essere utilizzata come aiuto per la chiusura dell’otturatore e può essere montata su entrambi i lati dell’arma, a seconda della scelta dell’utente ed è alimentata da caricatori STANAG-compatibili M16.

Il calcio della spalla regolabile è realizzato in polimero e si ripiega a destra. L'attrezzatura per l'avvistamento può essere installata su una guida Picatinny integrata che percorre l'intera lunghezza del ricevitore superiore monolitico.

L'avantreno sottile ha slot KeyMod sui lati e una guida inferiore, che può ospitare lanciagranate da 40 metri o una varietà di accessori tattici come luci, laser e impugnature anteriori. Il fucile HK433 è dotato di un contagranate elettronico integrato senza batterie che può trasmettere informazioni utili per la manutenzione utilizzando la tecnologia RFID.

The HK433 was designed by Heckler & Koch to be familiar to operators with experience using the H&K G36 and HK416 platforms. All controls are ambidextrous, and major components are modular, allowing for rifles to be configured in the field as needed.

History

The HK433 was launched at EnforceTac 2017 which ran on the 1st and 2nd of March in Nürnberg, Bavaria, Germany, after the HK433 was shown to a select number of people at the earlier SHOT Show in January. H&K is positioning the rifle as a candidate for the German Bundeswehr's competition to select a new assault rifle. The H&K G36, the Bundeswehr's standard assault rifle since 1997, is to be phased out and a replacement is planned to be phased in from 2020.

Design

Available barrel lengths will be from 11 “, 12.5”, 14.5 “, 16.5″, 18.9” up to 20″, cold hammer forged and hard chrome lined with a 178 mm (1 in 7 inch) right-hand twist, six-groove barrels with hard chromium plating. The precision is described as “far above average”.

The Heckler & Koch HK433 assault rifle is the most recent design from the famous German gun manufacturer. First presented in 2017, this rifle is primarily intended to replace the HK G36 assault rifles in service with the Bundeswehr (German army). It may have a significant export potential as well, especially if adopted in the army of its native country.

It is available commercially, but the replacement for the G36 is not expected to be announced until 2020. The HK433 is competing in German army trials against several other rifles such as the Steyr-Rheinmetall RS-556.

Technical Description:

Heckler & Koch HK433 assault rifle is a gas operated, selective fire weapon. It features short stroke gas piston, located above the barrel, with manual gas regulator. Barrels are easily removable after partial disassembly, and are offered in several lengths, ranging from 28 to 50 cm (11 to 20 inches). Barrel locking is achieved by a G36-style rotating bolt that locks directly into the barrel extension, and the bolt carrier group is also based on HK G36, with several improvements in detail.

Upper receiver is made from aluminum alloy; lower receiver, which consists of a trigger housing, magazine housing and a pistol grip, is made from polymer. The rifle is equipped with ambidextrous 3-position safety / selector lever which permits for single shots and full automatic fire.

Lower receiver is available in two alternate versions, with M16-style controls (side-mounted ambidextrous magazine release buttons) or G36-style controls (paddle-type magazine release at the bottom).

An ambidextrous bolt hold-open lever is present in either configuration. The folding charging handle is non reciprocating, but can be locked in to be used as a bolt closure assist, and can be mounted on either side of the gun, depending on users’ choice. The weapon is fed using STANAG-compatible (M16 tye) magazines.

Adjustable shoulder stock is made from polymer, and folds to the right. Sighting equipment can be installed onto an integrated Picatinny rail that runs the entire length of the monolithic upper receiver.

The slim forend has KeyMod slots on its sides and a bottom rail, which can host 40m grenade launcher or a variety of tactical accessories like lights, lasers and foregrips. The HK433 rifle features integral, battery-free electronic shot counter than can transmit info (useful for maintenance) using RFID technology.
